DIA launches Lasernet on Testnet; The world's first layer 2 rollup specifically built for Oracle Infrastructure. It combines trustless execution and permissionless access.

DIA is built in collaboration with the most innovative teams scaling Ethereum: Optimsm’s OP Stack (rollup framework), Conduit (rollup deployment), Hyperlane (interoperability protocol) and Celestia (Data Availability Layer).

Legacy Oracle models are limited in capabilities due to their reliance on external data providers: small support of data feeds, permissioned access, and transparent data processing.

News models like DIA have reimagined oracle infrastructure to address these challenges and future-proof oracles.

This is DIA’s vision:

DIA’s Lumina is a completely redesigned Oracle infrastructure built to operate as an open and permissionless network. This network allows it to gather data from any source and deliver it to any destination chain.

It consists of three main components: (data) Feeders, Lasernet (an L2 network), and a message-passing layer. The combination of these allows it to achieve completely decentralized and modular oracles to meet any data needs for dApps.

The core features of DIA Oracles embodies:

Permissionlessness – for data access but also data sourcing.

Trustless processing – via immutable, aggregator oracle smart contracts.

Distributed data sourcing – via a decentralized network of nodes that source and publish data on-chain, to the DIA Lasernet.

Notable Details on DIA Oracle:

Testnet is now live on Ethereum Sepolia.

Push and Pull Oracle models are available to test

Lasernet Mainnet is expected to launch in Q1 2025.

LayerZero announces that Layerzero V2 is now live on Aptos, enabling builders to extend applications and tokens from any of the 100+ chains supported by LayerZero V2 to Aptos.

pSTAKE Finance has integrated the Layerzero OFT standard, enabling YBTC, a $35M+ asset, to move seamlessly across chains.

Prosper, building the largest RWA protocol for Bitcoin hashrate and treasury has gone omnichain with Layerzero’s OFT standard.

14. Hyperlane

Hyperlane introduces the Hyperlane Cosmos SDK Module, an open interop framework for connecting Cosmos chains to external ecosystems, starting with the EVM.

Hyperlane announces that it is now live on Hemi; developers on Hemi can now build interchain apps and token bridges that connect to 120+ chains including EVM and SVM.

15. Wormhole

Wormhole announces its partnership with AMD; by leveraging AMD’s enterprise-grade hardware, Wormhole will integrate the latest zero-knowledge (ZK) technology to deliver trustless, low-latency cross-chain messaging.

16. Omni

Omni welcomes Allora, a decentalized AI network to the Omni Distribution Engine, utilizing Allora’s collective intelligence to transform RWA pricing and optimization.

Omni announces that Galaxy's validator is now live on Omni Core mainnet, providing improved security and decentralization to Omni's core.

zkVerify announces partnership with Fermah, with proofs generated on Fermah now verifiable on zkVerify.

18. Hyle

Hyle introduces Hyleoof, a trustless and non-custodial zkAMM demo built on Hylé, powering swaps through single signed actions and simplified UX.

Hyle announces partnership with Zerobase; by leveraging Hylé's pipelined proving technology, developers can now access ZeroBase's prover network without impacting app's speed.

Optimism announces a Superchain milestone, as Ink transitions to Stage 1 Decentralization– reinforcing permissionless security and better UX, joining OP Mainnet as the second Superchain network to achieve this status.

Optimism announces the launch of Superchain Index by SuperchainEco, a tracking registry for high-level stats such as daily transactions, L2 market shares, and providing information about chain status across the Superchain.

Optimism reveals a new OP logo, with OP Mainnet as one of many OP Chains in the Superchain paving the way for interoperability across the ecosystem.

20. Arbitrum

Arbitrum welcomes Rayls to Arbitrum Orbit, as they leverage Arbitrum tech to launch its public chain, driving unmatched scalability and ensuring seamless onboarding of billions of users into Web3.

21. ZKsync

ZKsync announces the release of its 2025 technical roadmap, reiterating simplified developer experience, powerful smart wallet SDK for abstracted user experience, and native interoperability.

22. Caldera

Caldera announces partnership with Bluewhale, to develop Oceanum, an AI-specific L3 zk-rollup that will power privacy-enhanced AI agents, models, and LLMs across multiple L1/L2 blockchains such as Arbitrum, Ethereum, and more.
